Reframing for Perspective Shift

When you're stuck or the AI isn't providing the insights you need, try asking it to reframe the problem or topic from a different perspective. This encourages the AI to explore alternative angles, analogies, or user viewpoints you might not have considered. For example, instead of 'Explain the benefits of our new software,' you could ask 'Explain the benefits of our new software as if you are a busy small business owner looking to save time,' or 'Explain it from the perspective of a user who is skeptical about new technology.' This shift often unlocks novel ideas, creative phrasing, or more empathetic explanations that directly address specific concerns. It helps overcome creative blocks and broadens the scope of your thinking.

In plain terms

It's like physically moving to a different spot in a room to get a new view of the same object; you're looking at the same thing, but the changed vantage point reveals new details and relationships.

Why it matters

Shifting the AI's perspective helps you uncover new insights, anticipate objections, and generate more relevant and compelling content by addressing diverse stakeholder viewpoints.
