Terms of Service

Last updated 8 August 2026. Plain English, because you should be able to read this.

Daily Deck is operated by Willhite Strategy Group ("we"). Using it means you accept these terms. Questions: hello@dailydeckai.com.

Willhite Strategy Group is a trading name of Consumer Quest LLC, which is the contracting party for these terms.

What Daily Deck is

A daily set of seven cards explaining AI in plain English, generated by AI models with live web search, plus quizzes, review, a glossary and saved cards.

The important thing about AI-generated content

The cards are written by AI models. They can be wrong. They can be out of date, misattribute a quote, or state something confidently that turns out not to be true. We prompt for accuracy and use models with live web search, but we do not fact-check every card before it reaches you.

Treat Daily Deck as a starting point, not a source of record. Do not rely on it for investment, legal, medical, employment or other consequential decisions. Check anything that matters against a primary source. If you spot something wrong, the thumbs-down button on each card genuinely feeds back into what we generate.

Your account

You need a working email address. There is no password — you sign in with a link we email you, so anyone with access to your inbox can get into your account. Keep it secure. You must be 13 or older. One account per person; do not share your sign-in links.

Trial, price and billing

Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time from Settings, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops the next payment; you keep premium until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not automatically refund part-used periods.

If something went wrong — you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or the app was broken for you — email us and we will sort it out. UK and EU consumers have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase; because we give a 30-day free trial before taking any payment, you have longer than the law requires to decide. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

What you may not do

We apply rate limits to keep the service up. Sustained abuse can get an account suspended.

Who owns what

The app, its name, design and code are ours. The card content is generated for you and you may read it, save it, quote it and share it personally — sharing is built in. You keep anything you write yourself, such as notes on saved cards; you give us permission to store and display it back to you.

Availability

Daily Deck is run by a small team on modest infrastructure. We aim to keep it up but do not promise any uptime figure. We may change or remove features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give notice and refund any prepaid period not yet used.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Your data. It is immediate and irreversible, and it cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented.

Liability

Daily Deck is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and law

If we change these terms materially we will update the date above and tell you in the app before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your own country.
