Feedback Loop: The 'What Else?' Prompt

After the AI provides an output, instead of just accepting it or giving specific corrections, ask open-ended follow-up questions like 'What else could we consider here?' or 'Are there any alternative approaches to this problem?' This encourages the AI to go beyond its initial, most obvious solution and explore tangential or less common ideas. It leverages the AI's broad knowledge base to generate unexpected insights or identify overlooked aspects, acting as a creative thought partner rather than just a task executor. This technique is especially useful in brainstorming or problem-solving scenarios.

In plain terms

It's like a brainstorming session where after someone gives an idea, you ask the group, 'Okay, and what else comes to mind?' to keep the ideas flowing.

Why it matters

You unlock deeper thinking and more diverse solutions from the AI. After your next AI-generated draft or idea, ask 'What else should I consider?' to broaden the scope of its contribution.
