Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)

RAG helps AI models provide more accurate and up-to-date answers by looking up information from a specific knowledge base, like your company's internal documents, before generating a response. Instead of just relying on what it learned during training, the AI first finds relevant facts from your provided sources and then uses those facts to formulate its answer. This means the AI can answer questions about very specific or recent information that wasn't in its original training data. For example, if you ask an AI about your company's latest benefits policy, RAG would allow it to search your HR manual and tell you the exact details, rather than just guessing or saying it doesn't know.
