Parameter
Think of parameters as the knowledge points or settings within an AI model that it adjusts and learns during its training. These aren't things you directly change; they are the internal gears that make the AI work and learn from data. When you hear about a large language model having 'billions of parameters,' it means it has an enormous capacity for storing patterns and relationships it's learned. For you, the user, more parameters generally mean the AI can understand complex requests and generate more nuanced responses, making it feel more intelligent and versatile in tasks like writing articles or summarizing meetings.
