Multimodality
Multimodality means an AI can understand and process information from more than one type of input, like text, images, or audio, all at once. Instead of just reading words, a multimodal AI can also 'see' pictures or 'hear' sounds and connect that information. This allows for richer interactions where you can combine different ways of expressing yourself. For instance, you could show an AI a picture of a product and ask, 'Where can I buy this?' using your voice, and it would understand both the visual and auditory input to give you a helpful answer.
