Curriculum Learning

Curriculum learning is a training strategy where a model is initially trained on simpler examples and gradually exposed to more complex ones. Much like how humans learn, starting with easy concepts allows the model to build a robust understanding before tackling challenging variations. This can lead to faster training and better final performance.

In plain terms

It's like teaching a child math by starting with addition and subtraction before moving on to algebra and calculus.

Why it matters

This approach can stabilize training, accelerate convergence, and sometimes achieve better generalization on difficult tasks that might otherwise be too challenging to learn directly.
