It also uses AI for content moderation, identifying and flagging inappropriate videos, and for enhancing video creation tools, such as automatically syncing video clips to music beats or applying visual effects. This blend of user-friendly creation tools and a powerful discovery engine has made it a significant platform for entertainment, news, educational content, and even marketing.

While incredibly popular for entertainment, TikTok has also influenced global culture, trends, and even music. It has given rise to new forms of short-form storytelling and has become a major platform for creators to build audiences. However, it has also faced scrutiny regarding data privacy, national security concerns, and content moderation practices, particularly in Western countries due to its ownership by a Chinese company.
