It achieves this by analyzing a vast array of data, including weather patterns, mosquito populations, and geographical information, to identify areas at risk. This predictive ability allows health organizations to take proactive measures, such as targeted fumigation or public health warnings, to prevent outbreaks and save lives.

The platform was developed by a team from the University of Oxford and is now deployed in several countries, including Malaysia and the Philippines, where it has shown significant success in accurately forecasting disease hotspots.
