Runway Introduces Solaris, an 'Interface World Model'
Runway has unveiled Solaris, the first model in a new family called 'Interface World Models,' which generates apps and websites dynamically as you use them. Solaris renders the interface itself, frame by frame, in real-time, allowing the interface to respond continuously to user actions. This visually-driven model eliminates the need for fixed applications or intermediate representations, enabling direct interaction with the scene rather than predefined menus.
This changes how users interact with digital interfaces, moving from static apps to dynamic, interactive experiences where the interface itself adapts to user input in real-time. It could make tasks like building a presentation or designing a visual much more fluid and intuitive, as the interface directly responds to actions.
