Perceptron Mk1: Video Understanding and Embodied Reasoning
Perceptron has released Mk1, a closed-source model specifically designed for video understanding and embodied reasoning. It aims to match the capabilities of frontier models in analyzing video streams with dynamic frame rates and a 32K-token context window, making it suitable for applications like defect detection, asset tracking, and visual search. Mk1 is available through the Perceptron Platform and an updated SDK.
Why it matters
This model makes advanced video and embodied reasoning more accessible and cost-effective for physical AI applications, enabling systems that can "see, reason, and act" in their environments.
