Perceptron Introduces Mk1 for Video Understanding and Embodied Reasoning
Perceptron has launched Mk1, a closed-source model designed for video understanding and embodied reasoning, achieving frontier performance at a lower cost. Mk1 processes video at a dynamic frame rate (up to 2 FPS) across a 32K-token context window, reasoning across time to provide structured breakdowns of events. It can track objects through occlusion, analyze multiple camera streams, and read task outcomes directly from video.
Why it matters
Mk1 makes advanced physical AI capabilities, particularly in robotics and monitoring, more deployable by offering high-performance video analysis and embodied reasoning at a significantly reduced cost.
