OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra Enters the 'AGI Era'
OpenAI has released GPT-6 Astra, which they describe as a 'generational leap in capability' for various fields including cybersecurity, software engineering, and general computer use. This new model is the first to meet OpenAI's 'critical cybersecurity capability threshold' and is designed for multistep agentic tasks, building websites, and creating polished documents. It is rolling out to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users, as well as via the OpenAI API and AWS.
