Nex-AGI Releases Nex-N2, an Open-Source Agent Model for Real-World Productivity
Nex-AGI has officially released Nex-N2, an open-source agent model built for real-world productivity scenarios. Nex-N2 unifies reasoning, tool use, and environment execution through an 'Agentic Thinking' framework that includes task planning, code implementation, environmental feedback, and continuous iteration. It claims first-tier performance in agentic coding, deep research, tool calling, and terminal execution, with substantial gains over its predecessor, Nex-N1. The model is released in two variants, Nex-N2-Pro and Nex-N2-mini, both post-trained on the Qwen3.5 series.
Nex-N2 offers a robust, open-source solution for complex agentic workflows, pushing the boundaries of AI in practical applications like software engineering and game development. Its 'Agentic Thinking' framework provides a unified approach to these challenging tasks.
