LG AI Research Unveils K-EXAONE 2.0, Korea's Largest AI Foundation Model
LG AI Research has released K-EXAONE 2.0, a 750 billion parameter AI foundation model, making it the largest developed in Korea. The model, released on Hugging Face with an Apache 2.0 license, significantly improves on its predecessor (236B parameters), with a 10% average score increase across 24 benchmarks and a 30% improvement in coding and agentic coding benchmarks. K-EXAONE 2.0 also demonstrates competitive performance against global models in long-context understanding, agentic tool-use, and instruction following, and has expanded multilingual capabilities to support 10 languages.
