Kyutai and Epic Develop First Playable Multiplayer World Model, MIRA
Kyutai, General Intuition, Epic, and ENPC have jointly developed MIRA, the first playable, real-time multi-agent world model for dynamic environments. MIRA simulates fast-paced 3D physics by training on 10,000 hours of bot-collected simulation data. It operates at 20 frames per second on a single NVIDIA B200 GPU and allows direct user input without a traditional simulation engine, released under an open-source research framework.
MIRA represents a significant engineering achievement in world modeling, enabling real-time, interactive simulation of complex physical environments. This could have profound implications for AI training in virtual worlds and the development of more sophisticated immersive experiences.
