Claude Can Now Independently Send Emails and Manage Google Drive Files
Anthropic's Claude, integrated into Google Workspace, has gained new autonomy. Paid users can now have Claude draft, reply to, or forward emails in Gmail, with the option to bypass human approval for sending. Similarly, Claude can now share, move, and trash files within Google Drive, also with configurable approval settings. Users can disable these features if they prefer.
Why it matters
A manager could set Claude to automatically respond to common customer inquiries via email or organize incoming attachments in Google Drive, significantly reducing manual administrative tasks.
