Anthropic Ships Built-in Browser for Claude Cowork, Isolating Web Access
Anthropic has introduced a built-in, sandboxed browser within the Claude Cowork desktop app. This separate Chromium instance allows Claude to perform web-based tasks, such as pulling invoices or gathering research, in isolation from the user's personal browser, enhancing security and privacy by not accessing personal browsing data.
