Anthropic Introduces Enterprise Frontier Safeguards for Data Privacy
Alongside its Fable 5.1 release, Anthropic introduced Enterprise Frontier Safeguards (EFS), offering enterprise customers complete data privacy with a zero data retention policy. EFS works by storing data in cloud infrastructure controlled entirely by the customer, not Anthropic. This feature will be rolled out in phases, with eligible customers able to use Fable 5.1 with zero data retention immediately.
For businesses and enterprises, this means greater confidence in using AI with sensitive data, as their information remains fully under their control and is not retained by Anthropic. This addresses a critical concern for many organizations hesitant to adopt AI due to data privacy worries.
