Anthropic Faces Pushback Over Claude Code Usage Limits Despite Chrome Extension Launch
While Anthropic launched its Claude in Chrome extension with autonomous browser control, the company is also facing criticism for adjusting usage limits on its paid Claude plans. Starting September 14, standard weekly usage limits will increase by 25%, but the temporary 50% increase that was in effect will end, resulting in a roughly 17% reduction from current levels.

Users of Claude's paid plans may need to adjust their workflow and expectations regarding how much they can use the AI, as their effective weekly usage limits will decrease despite new features being rolled out.
