Self-Correction with AI Feedback Loops

When an AI gives you an output, instead of just accepting it or starting over with a new prompt, you can build a system where the AI critically evaluates its own work. After generating a first draft, you can prompt the AI to review its output against specific criteria you provide, like 'Is this concise? Is it persuasive? Does it directly answer the question?' The AI then revises its own work based on its self-assessment. For example, a writer might ask an AI to write a blog post, then follow up with 'Review this post for clarity and tone, making sure it targets small business owners.'

In plain terms

It's like having an editor who is also the writer, able to look at their own work with fresh eyes and improve it before showing it to you.

Why it matters

This leads to significantly higher quality outputs with less back-and-forth, making the AI more efficient as a creative or analytical partner.
