Google Introduces Gemini Spark as Proactive AI Agent in Gemini App

Google is transforming its Gemini app into a more 'agentic' assistant with the introduction of Gemini Spark, a new general-purpose AI agent. Gemini Spark is designed to proactively manage tasks and navigate users' digital lives by reasoning across information in connected applications like Gmail, Docs, and Slides. It will be available first to trusted testers and Google AI Ultra subscribers, and will also integrate with a new macOS app.
