Google Introduces Gemini Spark as Proactive AI Agent
Google announced Gemini Spark, a new general-purpose AI agent within the Gemini app, designed to proactively manage tasks and navigate users' digital lives. Running on Gemini 3.5, Spark is deeply integrated with Workspace tools like Gmail and Docs, and operates as a cloud-based agent, continuing to work even when devices are closed. It will roll out first to trusted testers and Google AI Ultra subscribers, with expanded features like texting and emailing Spark, custom sub-agents, and browser operations planned.
